About I Am A Survivor Group
Our Story
- The group was founded in July of 2023 on TikTok by Cynthia Upchurch. Before long, the group had over 25 members with shared experiences that they were willing to discuss in an open forum. Thus, the I AMASURVIVOR GROUP was born.
- We were so passionate about our shared experiences we opened I AMASURVIVOR GROUP CORPORATION, a non-profit in the state of New York, on September 11th, 2023.provider of community support services in the region.

This book is a collective group of stories from women and men who have survived traumas such as sexual, physical, emotional, and mental abuse and domestic violence relationships. We have found "Purpose in our Pain" and help each other heal, grow, and move on from what happened to us in the past.
